Spooky Mansion is a San Francisco based 4-piece surf-rock group. Their particular take surf-rock mixes in psychedelic lead vocals (a bit reminiscent of Animal Collective), weird background noise and sound effects, and jangly guitars making heavy use of vibrato and oscillating delays. Allegedly, they got their start when they were asked to play at Owen Wilson's birthday party in Texas. They have since released two EP's and a full length album.

"Orbit Room" is a laid back tune from Spooky Mansion's recent full-length album Alright. The lyrics seem to describe the singer's relationship with a girl who does lines in the stall of "The Orbit Room". Presumably referring to local watering hole and pizza place The Orbit Room. The lyrics are a bit difficult to decipher underneath heavy reverb and distorted vocals. "Orbit Room" is a dreamy tune that sort of fades out as the singer repeats the last line as if falling asleep.
