Unlikely Heroes is a four piece punk-rock and hip-hop band hailing from Oakland, CA that has been described as a mix between Kid Cudi and Rage Against The Machine.

Their latest single, “Sun”, was released on March 6th along with a flashy music video featuring videography by Josh Fields from Hatch 86 films and ballet dancer Leilani Neal-Ramos. According to lead-singer Enon Gaines, who spends the majority of the video shirtless (a bit of a Red Hot Chili Peppers vibe) or covered in glowing neon paint, the video and song aim “to take the listeners down to a darker place, while offering just a glimmer of hope.”
“Sun” is part of an upcoming, self-titled EP. I am looking forward to the release of the EP and to seeing some live performances from this group soon!
